Congratulations to you all – we are on the countdown stage too as it is Manon Lily’s 1st birthday on the 7 June (however she wasn’t due to arrive until the 15 August!). What a year – I wouldn’t change a thing! Isn’t parenthood wonderful!
Rémy was 1 on the 19th of May – he was due at the beginning of June. We’ve not really celebrated the event properly yet. Either we are too occupied at the weekend or Isa’s family are.
None of my family got in touch to say “Happy Birthday” no change there then…
Parenthood is nice – I’m occupied and it great watching him grow up and learn new things.
That shot sort of happened by accident – only a few days old last year MIL insisted that we stand in front of the arch at their place. Then this year we were there again, and she suggested we take a shot. Then we realised we’d done the same pose last year.
You should have seen the state of our friend after he had finished cutting the arch out, and then demolishing the bricks. He looked like a ghost LOL
Rémy is asleep at the moment, and as it’s 30°C out I’m staying inside with the shutters closed to work on something for a friend on the PC. This morning I’ve been cutting hedges, and have been for a walk with Rémy – so I can do with staying out of the heat.
Our pole is still there BTW hehehe
Hope Niki improves – I saw on Facebook that she is back home now.

You three look so happy together! Happy (belated) birthday to Remy.
I like your idea of taking a picture in the same place and same pose–we’ll have to do that with Griffin too.

Hi Sarah,

Hahaha – an archway is indeed always very picturesque
I’m good – without kids, that’s why I’m back in the blogging world – thanks for adding the link to Niki btw
